It is headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, and contains the Jeep production facility workforce; however, that is only 1 of the 46 work sites the local oversees. They also serve and maintain operations in parts manufacturing and the medical industry, providing both the equipment and workforce required in this taxing year. UAW Local 865 was founded in East Moline, IL in 1941. It is comprised of the many men and women who work at the nearby JohnDeere facility. It stands to uphold the rights of over 1,000 members, who handle jobs ranging from floor workers to operations management. Through picket lines, negotiations, and loads of hearings from members Local865 takes the steps necessary to improve conditions for workers. It was this local that first approached Ken about creating a solution to simplify their financial process, and it’s been a great partnership since then!
